This gallery contains images from a 2003 trip to Yosemite National Park to summit Half Dome. If you've never been to Yosemite, the Sierra's are some of the most beautifual areas to go hiking or backpacking. While the Yosemite Valley area can get quite crowded in the summertime, once you go backpacking in the backcountry, you can go a few days without seeing anyone else.

All pictures here were taken with my old Nikon Coolpix 880, which is now in the grave. Unfortunately, the resolution of the digital images were quite low when I happened to snap these shots.
