This gallery contains images from a 2002 surfing trip to Baja California. If you've never been to Baja, away from the small cities and towns, your missing an open expanse of sparsely populated beautiful land, adjacent to miles and miles of coastline. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, meeting only local fisherman who will sell you the biggest lobster you've ever seen for $10, and other surfers out here for the same reason you are.

All pictures here were taken with my old Nikon Coolpix 880, which is now in the grave. Unfortunately, the resolution of the digital images were quite low when I happened to snap these shots.
