1. Overview
Well here we go. After modding my first two cases, which you can see here, I learned the pitfalls of case modding and other things that I should have done in the first place. Well, it was time to get rid of my In-Win full tower beast and mod something smaller. So I decided on an Enlight EN-7237. I heard many kick ass things about this case over at the Ars Case and Cooling Forum, plus it has 4 5.25" external bays! Rock!
I took some of these pics from the Virtual Hideout review of this case because I couldn't wait a week until I get my digital camera... a Nikon Coolpix 880, but that is a different story. So the first few pics of the case will be from their site, but all the modding pic's will be mine of course. I picked up my case at EMS Computing without a power supply for only $26.00! Guess what, it also came with a 80mm fan in the front, stock. Not that I'll use that one, but still. For a kick-ass review of the case, go check this out.
This is the updated version of the EN-7237 that has separate removable sides, and a cutout for an 80mm fan in the back as you can see. If you order one, make sure you call the place and ask if they are shipping the newer one. They either come with a 250W or a 300W PSU, some times you can get them w/o one at all like I did.
Some other cool things about this case are the drive rails it comes with, which make it way easy to switch out hard drives or whatever. The front bezel is also easily removable, yet secure, by a latch at the bottom as you can see. The two side panels come off by one screw each in the front and the motherboard tray is removable by unscrewing about 6 screws in the back. The motherboard tray comes with stand-off's already installed for you, along with many extra ones.
I started modding this sucker by attacking the back blowhole first.
