Backpacking Where Art Thou?
Man I miss backpacking. I was just looking at some random trip logs today of the JMT (John Muir Trail) and it brough back many fun memories. Drat winter. Must... wait.... 10... months...
Maybe next summer I can somehow get out to the Tetons to do a trip, or even the JMT one day.

I hear you. Great times.
I'm afraid the only pack I'll be strapping on in awhile will be full of diapers. But I know a day will come when we will once again walk to the trail. I look forward to it, as long as it is not too long and downhill both ways.
Teton Crest Trail, starts at around 10,000 feet, so you have a net loss of altitude over the entire trip. Gotta love the trams that take you to the top.
